Archibald Tech Center Public Computers.
Computer use is free for our library patrons. All you need is a Rancho Cucamonga library card. Library account balance owed must be less than $5.00 to use computers.

Computers at both libraries have Microsoft Windows XP, CD-ROM & USB capability, & headphone-capable audio. Patrons are given up to 2 hours of computer time per day at each library.

Children's and Teen Computers
Patrons under 18 may use the tech center computers at both libraries with a signed parental consent form (on back of library card application).

At the Archibald Library, there are computers in four locations:

  • Tech Center has 16 computers with MS Office and Internet access.
  • Express - 2 computers that can be used for 15 minutes at a time, with MS Office and Internet access (located just outside the tech center).
  • Teen Scene has 3 computers for teens ages 13-17, with MS Office and limited Internet access.
  • Children's has 3 computers for kids ages 12 and under, with MS Office and limited Internet access, plus 2 Apple iMac computers with children's games.

Tech Center Classes Computer Classes
Both libraries offer classes covering a variety of computer-related topics such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, EBay, Google and basic computer skills. Check out our calendar to see a schedule of upcoming classes.

Reservations
During busy times you may reserve the next available tech center computer by using the self-reservation station at the Archibald Library or by checking in with the tech assistant at the Paul A. Biane Library.

Printing
Printing is available at both libraries. Costs are $.10 a page for black and white and $.50 a page for color.

Free Wireless Access
Both the Archibald and Biane Libraries offer free Wi-Fi using your Wi-Fi enabled laptop computer. Check here to find out more.

Wireless Printing
Laptops using WiFi at both the Archibald and Biane Libraries can now send print jobs to the tech center printers. Click on the following link for wireless printing instructions.
